About Half Moon Gifts
Our Story
Half Moon Gifts and Apparel was started by Sue and Sheila of Half Moon Lake, Wisconsin a few years back. They took over the logo clothing line from the Waldoch children, who had taken it over from another lake dweller. The loon ladies go out on one of their pontoons stopping at docks asking if anyone wants to buy any of their Loon Logo Wear or gifts. In a given sunny day, they may stop at 5 to 10 docks, collecting smiles, laughter, and a few sales. Mostly they enjoy getting to know the lake dwellers and seeing their cabins can be great fun. As these two young ladies are finding their families growing, they decided to try a modern website to peddle their wares. In 2010 they had 5 children get married between them and as the story goes, first comes love, then comes marriage then comes someone with a baby carriage. The girls hope you enjoy the site.
